About
Long ago in a land far away…
Oops, sorry–that’s a different story.
Welcome to NealTrek, the periodic update page for the Neal family. We tend to not be so great at writing letters and such, so we thought this would be a way to keep you updated on the important happenings in our lives.
In case you were curious, the picture above in our page header of the cacti was taken by Christopher; these particular cacti are living happily on Harrison Street here in San Bernardino, CA. Harrison Street is about five or six miles from us and is a familiar route. It is filled with lots of interesting plant life, including tumbleweed!
You might be thinking, “Wow, that looks like a large tumbleweed”. However, to put it in perspective, Christopher was kind enough to take another shot of it. As it sat in front of his car, Big Blue (for those of you who don’t remember Big Blue, it is a very large GMC Suburban 4×4…notice the NJ tags still affixed):
Anyway, on with the important stuff about the blog.
From the menu to the right, select the Annual Updates under Categories or select a topic listed under Recent Posts for postings like, “how we spent our Christmas vacation” (this is our Christmas newsletter page). Or, select Miscellaneous Updates for postings like “you should have seen this really awesome thing we saw the other day” (this is our general update page). If you are truly brave, visit the Confessions of a Cave Dweller section for random musings on life from Andree’.
Oh, yes. And be sure to put your mouse cursor over the bold print in the text; some of those bolded statements are links to other websites of interest.
Enjoy!

Glad to hear from you guys, and trust all is going well. Hope you guys had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. That tumbleweed size is insane. I’ll have to check out the rest of the blog when I get home, the internet is a tad slow here. Take care, and keep posting updates.
This is nice! Tell the family hello for me.
Andree:

I am trying to locate your email (work email). It’s not listed on APU’s website. It’s so hard to find you woman
I have so much to share with you. So many ups and downs, but God has been through it all.
I was thinking about you and thought of looking you up. I am in the process of selecting insrumentation. However the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire and the Bar-On EQi that I would like to use are way too expensive for me to include in my doctoral research. Do you know of any other instruments along the lines of MLQ and the EQi that I could look into? I even though of creating my own assessments. But I don’t even know how to start if I decide to go this way. I know you may finished your doctoral degree or are almost there; that’s why I am coming to you for HELP?@!#!
I have been so blessed with the mentoring of Dr. Curry, the support of my husband and church family. We need to talk and I need to get you up to speed with my life and you need to keep me updated about your life.
In His Name,
Naydeen Gonzalez-De Jesus
(Stay blessed)
